  Campaigning day outing to the south of the North Devon CAMRA Branch SAT 26th September from 12:00 Visiting pubs around South Zeal, Sticklepath and North Tawton.

  GBG listed. An atmospheric micropub based in the old Tuckers Maltings bottle shop. Three handpumps dispense real ale, often from the neighbouring Teignworthy brewery. Keg beers, real cider and bottled beers also available.

  Directions Close to bus routes (100m) 12 Nearby Station (500m) Newton Abbot Arriving by Train, walk away from Station towards the town centre, after 100m turn right into Quay Road then left into Teign Road just before the rail bridge, pub is 50m on the right. Arriving by bus 12 alight at the rail station and follow directions as above. Parking: Free parking in Teign Road if you're lucky or Osbourne Street pay & display car park opposite the Taphouse.

• SW CAMRA Regional Meeting Saturday 17 October 2026 No Venue

  MEETING DETAILS:

  The Ring of Bells 16-17 St James Street, Taunton, TA1 1JS. 12.00 for 12.30.

  Usually five cask beers from Otter, Fuller's, On the Level and New Bristol Brewery. Pub opens 11.00 Table service and Cards only. You will all remember how good this worked well last year.

  Those arriving by Train, take buses 1, 28, from north side by platform 5, or 25 from South Side Interchange, platform 2. Alight at River Tone Bridge walk forward turn left and Ringers is 5min walk. You can of course walk, approximately 20min down to Station Road and turn left. Parking: Around the corner at the County Cricket Ground.

  Time: The Bar opens at 11.00am.

  Any one requiring food please look at there web site from early October and on arrival book your lunch for 13.30hrs. Phil Emond of the Somerset Branch will be there from opening time, 11.00, to welcome you and show you the Menu for you to order before meeting starts. Those not wishing to eat at RofB, there are plenty of Cafés and a Fish & Chip Shop with in 5min walk.

  Access: The meeting room is upstairs.

  After the meeting there will be a Pub Crawl starting at The Star, 10min walk, then Tap 1 of Fat Head Brewery. Another 10min walk takes you to The Ale House, Crown & Sceptre & The Plough at the road junction with Priory Bridge Road all of which are 5min to Taunton Rail Stn.

• SHAMFEST 2026 Friday 23 – Sunday 25 October 2026 Pollyfield Centre, East-the-Water

  Expect the usual mix of real ales, cider, gin and rum, music and good cheer - all in aid of good causes. Get in your diary, with more details to follow.
