Branch Awards
OVERVIEW
Some of the most important decisions each year, for any CAMRA branch, are about selecting and celebrating the very best Real Ale pub, Cider pub, and Club in their branch area.
In North Devon we are spoilt for choice with well over three hundred pubs and clubs or so to choose from. We are lucky to have so much, of excellent quality, in North Devon.
Selecting the very best of the best to receive one of these prestigious awards is no easy task. However our branch enjoys working through the selection and judging processes to come up with our winning and highly commended choices.

North Devon Brewery of the Year for 2023 is: Holsworthy Ales
This was first awarded in 2011 in memory of branch founder member Mick Gillick. It is not a national CAMRA award and therefore it is up to the branch how we decide on the winning brewery.
This year the committee choose the brewery they thought should win the coveted “Brewery of the Year” award out of the nominated breweries. With a “one member one vote” system it is the brewery with the most votes that will win.
The award is held by the brewery of the year until November 2024 when new nominations are received.
