Hip & Pistol8, St. Jame's Place.
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Converted from an old Georgian house and opening as a pub in 2017, the building has been extensively modernised to provide a timber fronted bar with a nautical theme. The flooring is a special feature showing the bay around Ilfracombe in pictorial form, with local landmarks and shipwrecks from the past together with an impressive pub logo shown in an image of a compass. A minimum of four real ales and six ciders are always available.
