A 15thC traditional thatched village inn with old beams, inglenook fireplaces and an unfailingly friendly atmosphere. Real ales are dispensed on gravity, while cider comes from nearby Sam's. The pub is renowned for its generous portions of locally sourced, home cooked food. Close to the Tarka Trail, River Torridge and Stafford Moor Fishery, there are seven en-suite rooms for visitors.
