See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Thatched, Grade II listed 17th-century inn, with low beams, flagstone floors, an open fire in winter and a sunny seating area at the front. A recent local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year, it has three real ales available, together with a good range of cider. The pub also has a reputation for its excellent home-cooked food, which can be enjoyed in the dining area, adjacent to the bar.
