See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Traditional 16th Century coaching inn on the old road from Barnstaple to Exeter with four cosy eating areas and a pleasant south-facing patio. The food is locally sourced, home cooked and varies with the seasons. The pub retains many of the original architectural features including a real fire, which has a bread oven while various past photographs of the village adorn the walls. There is a very popular Quiz Night once a month and accommodation is available, see website/Facebook for details. Holiday accommodation available. North Devon CAMRA Pub of the Year 2023
