See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Traditional 16th century thatched inn on the old road from Barnstaple to Exeter. There are four separate eating areas serving locally sourced, home cooked food from a seasonal menu. The pub retains many original architectural features, including two real fires, one of which has a bread oven, while various photographs of historical interest adorn the walls. Outside there is a pleasant, south-facing patio. Opening hours are from April to October. Please check web site for hours outside of those months.
