See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A busy free house, just off the centre of an historic market town mentioned in the Domesday book. The pub itself dates back to Tudor times and is oak panelled throughout. There are two connected bar areas, featuring old beams and an open fire. The regular Dartmoor Jail is joined by a regularly changing guest ale, which is often sourced locally.
