Dating from the 17th-century and set in an active village on the edge of Dartmoor, this pub is popular with visitors and locals alike. The real ales are attractively priced, while the cider is made in the village. Good value pub food is served in both the bar area and adjacent dining room. There is a TV in the large single bar, where numerous sports and pub games are played by friendly locals.
