See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Originally built as a 12th-century monastery, the Oxenham was later an imposing manor house. It now has the unspoilt atmosphere of an old country inn, with low beams, flagstone floors and open fires. Two guest beers, usually from local breweries, join the regular Oxy Ale and Merry Monk house beers. Good food can be enjoyed either in the bar or the separate AA star restaurant. The pub runs seasonal hours, so it's always best to check the official website or social media for the most up to date information.
