This traditional village pub lies on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and dates back to the 18th- century. The cosy main bar, with a large wood-burning stove, is complemented by two separate dining areas (advisable to book in evenings) and a games room. Three real ales are kept, with Sam's Medium cider also available in summer. Good home-cooked food is available seven days a week. Jazz sessions take place on 2nd Monday of each month.
