Dating back to the 18th-century and with the bar featuring an oak fireplace lintel inscribed 1789, this truly authentic rural Devon pub, lies at the heart of the local community. The cosy main bar, with a large wood-burning stove, is complemented by two separate dining areas (advisable to book in evenings) and a games room. Three real ales are kept, with Sam's Medium cider also available in summer. Good home-cooked food is available seven days a week.
