See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Situated in a narrow street close to the church, this 400-year-old traditional pub is very much a village local with a community focus. It has its own skittles, pool, shove ha'penny and tug-of-war teams. A friendly welcome greets visitors where some ales are served on gravity from behind the bar. Three small, popular beer festivals are held every year.
