Process for selecting Brewery of the Year
Each year CAMRA members have the privilege of choosing which of our many excellent North Devon breweries gets to be our Branch Brewery of the Year. More than simply producing excellent beers, this much coveted award is made in recognition of the brewery which has, in the opinion of members, done most during the previous 12 months to promote the cause of Real Ale in North Devon including their involvement in their local community.
Step 1: CAMRA members put forward their nomination for the branch Brewery of the Year
Step 2: All nominated breweries will then be carefully considered by a panel made up of Pubs Officers and Brewery Liaison Officers (BLO's) in order to produce a shortlist of 3 or possibly 4 local breweries
Step 3: Members will be informed of the shortlisted breweries, together with a (50 or so word) statement, written by the relevant BLO, in support of each brewery, via email and the branch website
Step 4: A four week voting window will commence
Step 5: The winner will be announced
